This is a unique opportunity to look at these places from a new perspective — through the prism of history, memory and everyday experiences of their inhabitants. During the meeting, the curator will introduce the participants to the narrative of the exhibition, telling about its idea and the background of its creation. The exhibition combines the past with the present, creating a multi-threaded story built from personal memories, archival photographs, documents and memorabilia. It is the voices of the local communities that become the most important guide here. The tour will allow you to better understand how individual districts contribute to the identity of the city and how important the residents play in building the memory of Bydgoszcz.
Conducted by: Kamil Ściesiński and Filip Semrau from the MOB History Department
