This autumn, in the second room of the Office of Photography, we are exhibiting the exhibition Taming the City, presenting contemporary works from the Warsaw Museum's photographic collection.
It is a visual story about Warsaw and its inhabitants from the 19th century to the present seen through the eyes of both professional photographers and amateurs.
The curator of this edition of the Gallery Julia Staniszewska will talk about what can make us feel at home in Warsaw or vice versa — foreign and uncomfortable, and about the sense of belonging taken up in the works of artists.
