Exhibition “Cuckoo. The Power of Dreams” is centered around the last decade of Jerzy Kukuczka's life — the time of his greatest climbing achievements. This is a period of great challenges, thanks to which it is permanently inscribed in the history of the Himalayas. As the second man in the world, he won the Himalayan Crown and Karakoram. Of the 14 eight-thousanders out of 11 he entered new roads, three peaks he reached first in winter, 13 without oxygen, seven in Alpine style, and one alone.
