What was found in the Krak mound? What was the purpose of the mysterious padlock presented at the exhibition? And who is in the coat of arms of Podgórze and why? These and many other questions will be answered during a tour of the main exhibition “City under the Mound of Krakow”. It will be a story about the history of the former Free Royal City of Podgórze, today the 13th district of Krakow, about its otherness, multiculturalism, success and tolerance. About how you can build a city and how you can lose it. We invite those who know Podgórze well and those who are just starting their adventure with learning about the history of the old town. Those who have been foothill recently and those who have already grown deep roots in the right bank of Krakow.
