We cordially invite you to a curatorial tour of the exhibition Now everything will be different. Karolina Breguła, which will be led by Aleksandra Sikor.
Karolina Breguła's creative practice combines artistic research and documentary. The artist is interested in the experiences of specific people, ways of building narratives together and the social, political and environmental processes that affect our lives.
The common theme of the presented works is the experience of losing a home and waiting for change. Breguła looks at, among other things, mass demolitions and evictions, gentrification processes and the ways of resistance taken by people forced to leave their homes. In his work carried out in the coastal part of Taiwan, he observes landscape changes related to the action of the elements and climatic factors.
The tour will take place on Sunday, October 25 at 13.00 at the Europa - Far East Gallery. We do not reserve seats for the event — the order of applications on the day of the meeting is decided (limit: 25 people). To take part in the tour, please arrive a few minutes in advance at the reception in the main lobby of the Gallery and wait for the guide. The entrance ticket to the exhibitions according to the current price list entitles you to participation.
