During the underground walk you will learn what Łódź looked like before the construction of the first sewage channels and what challenges its inhabitants had to face. You will discover who is behind the ingenious project of the Łódź water supply and sewage network and how the individual stages of this gigantic investment went. The trip is also a unique opportunity to find out what function the iconic “Dętka” performed and why it is today the only such tourist attraction in all of Poland. The visit will be completed by an extraordinary exhibition by Robert Kusmirowski — a contemporary artist hailed as the “master of falsification”. Together we will look at the photographs exhibited directly in the historic canal and solve all the artistic riddles that the creator has prepared for visitors. The event is fully accessible to everyone — the entire tour will be translated into Polish Sign Language (PJM)
