Guided tour of the exhibition PRODUCT

How did the “product” come about? What happened behind the scenes of one of the most important Polish comic magazines of the late 1990s and early 2000s? And what stories are best remembered by the people who co-created his legend?

On October 24th, we invite you to a special tour of the EXHIBITION PRODUCT exhibition. The history of the magazine will be told by the creators of the exhibition, its protagonists and the publisher: Michał “Śledziu” Śledziński, Marcin Łuczak and Szymon Holcman.

It will be a tour full of anecdotes, memories, behind the scenes of the creation of the magazine and above all love for comics.

On the day of the event, there will also be an opportunity to purchase a BOOK PRODUCT and get a badge from Michał “Sledzia” Śledziński.

The event is open to people from 16 years of age.

Michał “Śledziu” Śledziński — cartoonist, screenwriter and animation creator. Co-creator and editor-in-chief of the magazines “Produkt” and “P-Lux” and zina “Asbest”. Author of the series “Osiedle Swoboda”, “Fido and Mel”, “Na ane” and “Family Values”, among others. He has also worked in the production of animations, games and commercials. He co-created, among others, animated adaptations of “Kajka i Kokosza”, “Kacperiady” and the film “Dragon Diplodok”.

Marcin Łuczak — popularizer of comics, moderator of author meetings and co-organizer of numerous comic and pop culture festivals. He has published, among others, in “Zeszyty Komiksowe”. Originator and curator of the EXHIBITION PRODUCT exhibition at the Centre for Comics and Interactive Narration EC1.

Szymon Holcman — co-owner of Kultura Gniewu publishing house, film expert and tireless popularizer of comics.
