Oratory “Wojciech — Adalbert. A holy sign for Radzionkov”

A unique musical event on the occasion of the 700th anniversary of the first mention of Radzionków and the 150th anniversary of the dedication of the present church of St. Wojciech

The “Karolinka” Cultural Center in Radzionków invites you to an unusual musical event — oratorio “Wojciech — Adalbert. Holy Sign for Radzionkov”, which will take place on October 10, 2026 at 19:15.

Free tickets can be collected at the impresarial of the Cultural Center “Karolinka”.

The concert will be an artistic commemoration of two important anniversaries inscribed in the history of our city: the 700th anniversary of the first mention of Radzionków and the 150th anniversary of the consecration of the present church of St. Wojciech.

The oratory will be dedicated to the figure of St. Wojciech — the patron saint of the Radzionków parish and one of the most important saints of the Church in Europe. It is a musical story about the faith, history and spiritual heritage of a place that for centuries has built its identity around the community and the memory of successive generations of inhabitants.

The musical side of the event is the responsibility of Klaudiusz Jania — the author of music and arrangement. The libretto was prepared by Damian Stadler.

Excellent performers will perform on the stage:

Concert Wind Orchestra Power of Winds conducted by Klaudiusz Jana, Harp Choir, Fresco Choir from Tarnowskie Mountains, St. Wojciech Parish School in Radzionków. Among the soloists we will hear:

Tacjana Wojtkowska, Karina Bisaga, Mateusz Pilarczyk-Gancarczyk. This unique meeting of music, history and local tradition will be an opportunity to experience together an event that connects generations and reminds of the importance of places and characters that shape the history of Radzionkow.
