The Krakow Film Festival lasts a few days, but the festival life of good documentaries can last much longer! For the sixth time, the selected films from this year's edition of the festival are launched as part of the _insider project on a tour of studio cinemas. In October it will be possible to see “Playing with the Devil” by Piotr Małecki and Maćek Nabrdalik, and in November the “Orchestra” of Kuba Kossak. For two months, both documents will be presented in different parts of the country, giving viewers another opportunity to see on the big screen the most interesting contemporary Polish documents.
About the event
ORKESTER
For 30 years now, an unusual musical institution called the Klezmer Orchestra of the Sejneński Theatre has been operating on the northeastern border of Poland. By playing together, the next generations of young people can not only develop their talents, but also bear witness to the multicultural identity of the place and the local community. The film is a story about this phenomenon, as well as a record of the great creative energy that has attracted artists such as Marcin Masecki and Mikołaj Trzaska to the White Synagogue in Sejny for years.
