A Wounaan tribal chief and a rebellious teenager embark on a journey through the jungle of Darién in search of a sacred bird that can restore spiritual balance to their people. A film on the border between documentary and fiction directed by Emberá creator Elio B Cunampio and Argentine filmmaker Guido Bilbao. The film is the first film to use the Woun Meu language (also known as Wounaan, Noanamá or Waunana), a language spoken by about 10,000 people living in the rainforests on the border of Panama and Colombia. The film was created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Panama (MiCultura).
After the screening, there will be an online conversation with the filmmakers translated into Polish.
