Open Music Salon | Concert of the Salon Music Ensemble Eleganza

On October 18, 2026, we traditionally invite Johann Strauss music lovers and many other continuators of classical dance music to the final concert as part of the tenth anniversary edition of the open-air concerts of the ELEGANZA Salon Music Ensemble, under the title Open Music Salon 2026 in Gliwice, which will take place in the Municipal Palm House of Gliwice.

The organizers of the concerts are the Victoria Culture Centre in Gliwice and the WENA Art Agency. Partners of the concerts are the Museum in Gliwice — Willa Caro, MZUK in Gliwice, KSSE, PSM I and II century L. Różycki in Gliwice, Radio Katowice and Radio Imperium. The series of concerts is co-financed from the budget of the City of Gliwice and implemented in cooperation with CKV Victoria as part of the “Made in Gliwice” program.

Lounge music, played live in the open air, sounds for the tenth time in Gliwice and is a continuation of the tradition inaugurated in 2017, of spending free time with lounge music played live in different spaces of the city.

During the jubilee edition of the series, the ELEGANZA Salon Music Ensemble has already played 2 outdoor concerts in Chopin Park and on the terrace of Villa Caro, presenting hits of dance music of the 19th and 20th centuries as well as new arrangements of famous and popular hits and film music.

This time we invite all families to the third final concert at the Municipal Palm House in Gliwice.

This will be the autumn finale of the cycle, which will traditionally sound at noon and which, as always, will not lack musical premieres and surprises.

Concerts always gather a large audience on Sunday afternoons and allow you to feel the atmosphere that resonated with great success in the parks and salons of 19th century Europe (in particular Vienna) and was present at many exquisite balls.

In the open-air concert programs, the band will present hits as always, including waltz, polka, czardas, serenades, marches, bundles, overtures and dances of well-known and sometimes forgotten masters, as well as new arrangements of Polish film music.

The ELEGANZA Salon Music Ensemble, formed by the leaders of the Gliwice Chamber Orchestra, was founded in 2016 and is a continuation of the Viennese tradition of music in a classical, light and dance mood.

The band's premiere concert took place on 4 September 2016 in Chopin Park in Gliwice.

ELEGANZA performs in a diverse cast of instruments, which gives the opportunity to adapt to any space and conditions both in the halls and outdoors and expands the musical offer of the Gliwice Chamber Orchestra for its listeners.
