Do you like creative tasks, but don't know where to start? Or do you want to spend a Saturday afternoon creatively, get to know interesting facts about art and people who, like you, are happy to grab a pencil? Open sketchbook is a proposal for both beginners and advanced. Every week, new challenges are waiting for you, inspired by works of art from the MNW collection. This week we will be taking a look at miniature painting at the 19th Century Art Gallery.

Practical information

* Meetings are open to all — regardless of age or experience.
* We provide all the materials you need, but if you wish, you can come with your own sketchbook (notebook, crayons or pencils).
* Participants will take all the resulting works with them — come to a few meetings to create an extraordinary portfolio inspired by works from the MNW collection.
* During meetings, you will try different drawing techniques - they will not be dirty, so there is no need to take a change of clothes.
* Meetings can be joined at any time — however, we encourage you to attend from the start time to hear the presenter's introductory story.
* The open sketchbook is run by experienced MNW Educators — you will receive helpful tips and individual corrections from them.
* Meetings are held in permanent galleries — check in the program, in which gallery we are on the date you choose and look for an easel with the inscription: “HERE WE SKETCH”.
