Our House Is On Fire | Ukraine! Film Festival

Our House Is On Fire directed by Alice Biletska — Ukraine — 2025 — 94 min.

Sofia, a young Ukrainian singer trying to start her career in Los Angeles, returns to Kiev after a four-year absence. It arrives just before the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.

War forces her to make an impossible choice between career and home, security and love. The film was shot in Ukraine during the war — amid air alarms, bombings and the current curfew.

This is a story about a generation of young Ukrainians whose plans and dreams were suddenly confronted with the reality of war.
