The Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites you to workshops for the youngest, which accompany the exhibition “Edward Dwurnik. Pride and shame.”
During the classes we will look for inspiration in the artist's work. We will look at a fragment of his work “The Disaster of the Harvest” and together we will find fruits in the picture. We will check what colors and shapes they have, and we will consider how an apple differs from a pear.
Our meeting consists of two parts. In the first of them, through touch, smell and taste, we will know the different fruits. We will see how their peels, smells and tastes differ. We will also consider if fruits can be turned into instruments, and we will play a fruity melody together!
In the sensoplastic part, the fruits will serve us as natural stamps. We will dip their pieces in juices and bounce on a large-format surface. We will check what traces an apple, pear or orange leaves, and create a common, fragrant composition.
