Towards the end of the 1770s, Mozart wrote for two solo pianists rather than one; his 1779 Double Concerto has "stereo" soloists conversing with the conviviality of two old friends catching up. Elena Bashkirova plays this heartwarming piece with Music Director Marios Papadopoulos, alongside Mozart's final solo piano concerto, a work of poetry and poignancy, before Marios rounds off the concert conducting the infectious energy of the 'Jupiter' Symphony.
