Palestinian Unwanted

During the war in Gaza, Danish-Palestinian film director Omar Shargawi struggles to generate attention in the Danish public, while at the same time struggling himself to stay together. A deeply personal film about his involvement in the Palestinian movement in Denmark — confrontations with politicians and the media, and a showdown with Denmark's role from political support to arms exports. The film also returns to the Nakba of 1948, with the director's family and surviving witnesses linking past and present.
