In October 2026, theaters, artists and organizations from all over the world will merge into one
activity, reading texts written by young writers from Gaza, related to the Theater
Anga.
it
the event is a tribute to Abraham Saidam, the young actor of the band
Anqa, who died in the bombed Gaza Strip on October 15, 2023. His
friends and colleagues continue today a mission that was not given to him
finish.
“We can't
stop guns, but we can give theaters and artists the opportunity to become
bastions of humanity. We can make the scene a tool
cultural and artistic resistance — a place where the voices of those will be heard,
whose everyday life is marked by silence and violence.”
October the world reads these texts together — to break the silence, preserve the memory
and give space to words that should not disappear.
