On November 15, the third edition of the series “We Remember About...”, dedicated to Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz, will take place in GOKsir Przecław. It will be a meeting with his music, words, works and people associated with his artistic path.
“We Remember About...” is an artistic series of the Municipal Centre for Culture, Sport and Recreation in Przecław, the first edition of which took place in 2024 and was dedicated to Olga “Kora” Jackowska. The second edition, in 2025, recalled the work of Grzegorz Ciechowski. This year's edition will be dedicated to Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz.
Budyń was a musician, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and composer. He was mainly associated with the Pogodno ensemble, which he founded in 1996, he also developed solo activities, co-created Babu Król, created theatrical music and collaborated with many artists.

About the event
16:00 | Screening of the film “It's a pity that at last”
We will start the meeting with a screening of the film “It's a pity that at last” directed by Sebastian Juszczyk.
The film is a portrait of Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz, built from conversations, archival materials, animations and collages, as well as memories of people from his artistic environment. It is a story about the musician, his work and the world in which he worked for years.
17:30 | Meeting with guests
After the screening, we invite you to a conversation dedicated to Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz — his music, creative work and artistic path. There will be memories, anecdotes and stories related to joint projects and meetings with the artist. The meeting will be moderated by Piotr Rokicki from Radio Szczecin.
The meeting will be attended by:
Sebastian Juszczyk — director, screenwriter, editor and animator. Creator of more than 200 music videos, he has collaborated with, among others, Pogodno, Babu Król, Tricky, Bisz, Marek Dyjak, Skubas and Nanga. His works have been presented and awarded at film festivals in Poland and abroad. In 2025, he made his debut with a feature-length documentary film “It's a pity that at last”, dedicated to Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz.
Ania Brachaczek and Hrabia Fochmann — musicians and co-creators of the BiFF band, previously also associated with the Pogodno band. In their work, they combine alternative sounds, characteristic lyrics and a sense of humor. They are also connected to the work of Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz with the BiFF album “Legendy”, which includes the song “Gdyby” with his lyrics.
Joanna Ewa Lewandowska — singer and songwriter, laureate of the “Remember Osiecka” Festival and finalist, among others, of the Actors' Song Review. In the years 2008-2015 she co-formed the Miąższ band, with which she released two albums and played hundreds of concerts. She also worked as a medical clown artist, singing in hospitals and refugee camps in Greece and South Sudan. Together with Jacek “Budynie” Szymkiewicz, she created a project of rockandroll songs for children “Budyń Julka Tuwima”. Currently he performs his works with the Pogodno ensemble.
18:15 | Planting a tree of memory
Together we will plant a symbolic tree in memory of Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz on the territory of GOKsir. This is another element of the cycle “We remember about...”, which will remain in the GOKsir space.

18:30 | BiFF — concert in chamber ensemble
BiFF has been combining alternative sounds, distinctive lyrics and a sense of humor for years. The band consists of musicians previously associated with Pogodno. His albums include “Ano”, “Attenzione Bambino” and “Legendy”.
This time we will hear BiFF in a duet version. Ania Brachaczek — vocals and guitalele — and Count Fochmann — guitar and vocals — will reach for the band's songs in chamber version.
With the work of Budynia BiFF also combines the album “Legendy”, on which the song “Gdybim” with his lyrics was included.
The third installment of the series “We Remember About...” will be an invitation to meet again with the work of Jack “Budynia” Szymkiewicz — his music, lyrics and projects that he co-created. This is another story about an artist whose work we want to remember and keep in our memory — returning to it, rediscovering it and sharing it with other audiences.
