ul. Św. Marcin 80/82, Poznań

Adam Mickiewicz was late. The uprising collapsed before it appeared. Together with other Polish emigrants, consumed with remorse, longing, the idea of regaining the MOTHERLAND, he decided to act - to write a poem. Soplicowo, an idyllic place, almost perfect, with imperfect people. The space of Mickiewicz's childhood, where disputes are resolved at the table and the biggest murders are forgiven in the name of fraternity. Poles who eat, drink, collect mushrooms, cultivate colloquial art, waiting for the French to come and make them their homeland. Who were we as a nation? Who are we today? In this performance, the artists are given a voice. How to act, how to create in oppressive times? The myth of exile, longing, death for the motherland, what value does it have today? What drives our patriotism? What is he today? Can we speak with one voice? Around these and other broadly understood issues, the creators of the play, referring in a tragicomic way to the work of Adam Mickiewicz, bite into today's reality. Let's make love!
