Pandemonium

Deep underground, two slaves toil at a furnace that spews out a black, oily liquid. Above them reigns a tyrant, whose cruelty is hidden behind a childish behavior. In this claustrophobic life, where escape seems impossible, the slaves carry a dangerous secret. As it is revealed, revolution becomes inevitable.

Pandemonium is a music-dramatic performance without words, in which newly composed chamber music, physical theatre, puppets and film merge into a gesamtkunstwerk about power, hope and the dream of another world.
