Panic Room

After an unhappy divorce, Meg (Jodie Foster) and her diabetic daughter Sarah move into a house in New York. Their new home is equipped with an unusual 'panic room' - a security room with its own ventilation and communications system and with video monitors connected to surveillance cameras throughout the house. When three men break into the house, Meg and her daughter seek refuge in the panic room, but Sarah's medicine did not come, the phone in the room does not work, and it turns out that the thieves are in search of something in the shelter itself! It will be a long night of cat after mouse play, all while the oxygen supply slows down and Sarah's health weakens. Stylistically, Fincher does not allow himself to be limited by the scarce location. The camera slides through walls and floors, down air ducts and into keyholes, which, together with the impactful computer-generated imagery, creates an eerie and complex thriller.
