Paradise Villa – A Rehearsed Reading

‘I watch this show. I’ve watched this show a lot.’

Love is on the cards in Paradise Villa, the UK's biggest reality television show. Jules and Will have a plan to win, both inside and outside the villa, but when the cameras roll, no one is quite who they seem. So what happens when you catch both flights and feelings?

Paradise Villa is a fast-paced, sharp-tongued satire of reality television, the second play written by Alex Ansdell (Royal Court Writers’ Group). It was presented in 2025 at ‘F*ck Around Find Out’, the comedy new writing night run by Elizabeth Hollingshead and Spiky Saul, now FAFO Productions.

Praise for previous play Phalanx:

Standing Ovation Award Nominated

‘layered, touching and very funny’ – London Pub Theatres

‘the wrong-footing of the audience is what makes this play work so effectively … gripping theatre’ – The Reviews Hub
