The painting by Michał Bielawski is an author's look at the artistic achievements of the leading artist of the Polish film school, illustrated with fragments of films, chronicles and photographs from the rich archive of the hero, complemented by impressive staging. The whole thing is connected by a narrative from the off, built from interviews given by Andrzej Munk himself and his colleagues and friends, which leads us through the story of his life and work. An important element of the documentary are previously unknown film materials found in Polish and foreign archives with the participation of the director.
