Pasquale Aleardi and the Phonauts — “The Commissioner and the Sound Researchers”? — or rather “Three tricksters with depth in action”?! Aleardi, known to many as “Commissioner Dupin,” lets everything out in this constellation: As a passionate singer with a good dose of mischief on his neck, he presents an enthusiastic mix of chansons, charts and music cabaret together with his playmates — sorry, his fellow players.

In collaboration with Aleardi, his stage colleagues, the phonauts Spike and Mary, not only turn out to be all-terrain multi-instrumentalists — in particular, the three cheerful gentlemen form an extremely creative band of rattles who crown serious musical pranks on their cheerful exuberance.
