Paulina Kalinowska — author's meeting “Say it three times”

What happens when fiction becomes reality on Halloween night?

The Municipal Public Library in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski invites you to an author's meeting with Paulina Kalinowska — writer, editor and proofreader, who decided to combine literary darkness with humor, a note of reflection and unobvious twists.

The starting point for the conversation will be her debut novel “Say It Three Times” — the story of Serena, an eccentric lover of darkness, music and books. One Halloween night, her dream of moving into the world of her favorite movie unexpectedly comes true. But the new reality turns out to be far from ideal...

What do black comedy have in common, the vibe of Tim Burton movies, a cat's heart and a hero who isn't necessarily who we think he is? We will talk about this and many other literary inspirations with the author!

Paulina Kalinowska describes her literary style as “black comedy in white stripes” — a combination of hanging humor, light form and reflection that stays with the reader for longer. This is a proposal for those who like stories that escape simple categories and characters with an ambiguous nature.

If you like books with a touch of darkness, unobvious humor and stories where nothing is as simple as it might seem — book this afternoon and meet us!
