October Neighbourhood Breakfast

We invite you to the next Neighbourhood Breakfast at CAL Sołtysowice — a meeting at the Common Table, which is an opportunity to get to know the neighbors, talk over coffee and spend a Saturday afternoon together.

After the September plum, it's time for another seasonal flavor. The theme of the October meeting will be pumpkin.

The menu will feature pumpkin toppings both sweet and dry, including roasted pumpkin and feta spread and a sweet pumpkin topping for chalka. There will also be fresh bread, homemade hummus, vegetables, cheeses and other breakfast toppings as well as coffee and tea.

The October table will also be enriched with homemade dogwood preserves donated to CAL by one of the residents of Sołtysowice. This is another example of how the Common Table is created by the meeting participants themselves.

So, if you feel like it, we encourage you to bring something of your own: homemade cake, fruit, preserves or any other snack that you can share with your neighbors. However, this is not a condition of participation in the meeting.

We are also continuing to collect recipes for the future Sołtysovice Cookbook. It will be possible to write down your proven recipe on a paper breakfast tablecloth - in October, ideas for dishes with pumpkin will be especially welcome.

We will prepare a creative corner for the little ones. The paper tablecloth will also remain a place for drawings, messages and everything that participants want to add from themselves.
