On the occasion of Independence Day, as part of the XXXII Sądecki Music Festival IUBILAEI CANTUS, we invite you to the performance of the Marek Probosz Theater entitled Performance in IV acts. The event will take place on Wednesday, November 11 at 18:00 in the Lucjan Lipiński Małopolska Cultural Centre SOKÓŁ room. The key characters of the monodrama in the four-act structure are the architects of Polish freedom: Juliusz Słowacki; Blessed Fr Jerzy Popiełuszko; Ignacy Paderewski; Cyprian Norwid. The show combines the history of Poland, the poetry of Romanticism, the music of masters and the word of spiritual leaders in a minimalist, contemporary way. Monologues, homilies, speeches interspersed with sound reality, created in a duet between an actor and a pianist, pulsate with emotion and wisdom of thought, delight with the treasury of Polish, the affairs of the nation and the affairs of art. This spectacle is a volcano of imagination, an extraordinary encounter with the radical truth of immortal feasts who were ahead of their time. From the Partitions, through the First World War, to Solidarno
