Pearls of the Season by Anna Lapwood — organ recital

Anna Lapwood is recognized in the contemporary world of classical music as an extremely inspiring artist. She gained international notoriety as the official organist of the Royal Albert Hall, continually breaking the boundaries between tradition and popular culture and attracting a whole new audience to organ music. She is not only an organist, she is also involved in conducting and educational activities, an important element of which is supporting young artists — especially women — developing their careers in the world of classical music.

At NOSPR, Anna Lapwood will present a distinctive program combining film music from The Lord of the Rings or Pirates of the Caribbean with contemporary minimalism and classic organ repertoire. With his own arrangements and enormous charisma, Lapwood proves that the organ can be a fascinating instrument for both connoisseurs and those just discovering classical music. We are waiting for an unforgettable meeting with an artist who redefines the contemporary face of organistics.
