Three artists moving between experimental music, indie rock, noise, folk and far beyond their borders. L'Rain is a project by Brooklyn-based producer, multi-instrumentalist and curator Taji Cheek, whose genre defying music draws from classical education as well as the culture of DIY and noise. After the well-received albums Fatigue and I Killed Your Dog, she returns with fata morgana — an experimental rock album filtered by dub, musique concreète and dream pop.

Manchester quartet Mandy, Indiana collides rock, dance music, trap and noise to create something entirely of their own. After the well-received debut of I've Seen a Way in the new material, it goes even further, leading to a collision of hyperpop, blues rock and casual experimentation.

One Leg One Eye, a project by Lankum founder Ian Lynch and producer George Brennan, takes folk into darker areas by combining field recordings, guitars and electronics. Their music draws on Celtic folklore and black metal, creating something somber, ritualistic and transcendental.
