Frances was never one for spontaneity: her sudden decision to up and leave for a summer in the French countryside was decidedly unlike her.

There, her days are filled with visits from loved ones; yet, at night she always falls back into texting a particularly close friend, Harri.

As time passes in its blurry summer haze, it becomes more and more clear what Frances was running away from. A study of modern relationships, Petrichor delves audiences into the silence between words: the things left unsaid.
