It is 2024. When about 30 unknown people find out that they are related to each other and inherit a house in the countryside that has been abandoned for years, four of them are chosen to carry out an inventory of it. On the spot, the newly made “cousins” discover the unusual secrets of the old household and find the trail of a mysterious woman named Adèle, who left her native Normandy at the age of 20 and in 1895 went to Paris, experiencing the industrial and cultural revolution. Through learning about its unique history, the four heroes will travel deep into their family tree and immerse themselves in the reality of extraordinary moments of the late 19th century, when photography was invented and impressionism was born. This clash of two epochs, 2024 and 1895, will make them touch their own history, slow down the momentum of life and find people close to each other.
