Two London hitmen are ordered to lay low in Belgium's most well-preserved medieval city after a job goes horribly wrong. While the guilt-ridden Ray (Colin Farrell) absolutely hates the place, his older partner Ken (Brendan Gleeson) finds himself charmed by the fairy-tale canals and architecture. But the sightseeing is cut short when their unhinged boss (Sam Rockwell) calls with a shocking new order. Martin McDonagh’s iconic feature debut is a flawless mix of sharp-tongued dialogue, shocking violence, and surprising heart.
