Parkaue 29, 10367 Berlin, Berlin

As in a poetry slam for greats, well-known stage poets compete against each other with their lyrics. The children in the audience rate the lectures and decide who gets the crown. The rules are: no tools, just your own texts without AI and please don't be boring. Poetry Slam Champion Lars Ruppel moderates.

About the event

As in a poetry slam for greats, well-known stage poets compete against each other with their lyrics. The children in the audience rate the lectures and decide who gets the crown. The rules are: no tools, just your own texts without AI and please don't be boring. Poetry Slam Champion Lars Ruppel moderates.

Typical poetry slam: You don't know what's happening beforehand, because there are no requirements for form and content. It is rhymed and told, it becomes serious and funny, loud and quiet. Poetry Slam is not just reading aloud, words come alive here.

With:

Andy Strauss (Hamburg) Andy is like this one a character from your favorite book: You want him as a friend, it never gets boring with him and even when the book is over, he is remembered. I'm sure you'll remember his lyrics, they're so crazy and funny.

Heidi Wagner (Berlin) Heidi travels the world with her dog and tells stories. Sometimes your dog even appears in it. It's always fun! She is so different from Andy, but that's the way it is with Slam, that's exactly what makes so much fun

Paul Weigl (Berlin) He sometimes speaks so fast that you think you've pressed the fast-forward button. And he is loud too. And it's often about soccer, because his children play in the club and he often has to watch. I can make great music, but he can't do that that that evening.

Felix Römer (Berlin) Finally, someone who likes to rhyme the most. Felix loves how the words sound in poetry, almost like music. He has already experienced and felt so much, and he talks about it in his lyrics.

Lars Ruppel (Berlin) Lars has also been writing poetry for a long time and likes ballads the most. In other words, poems that tell a long story. For example, about a sheriff named Aisha. You'll see.
