For ten years, a homeless dog wanders through life with only a pure heart — a heart that guides him through an extraordinary journey full of love, loyalty and a lasting bond between man and dog. A bond that will forever remain in our hearts. His story is divided into 3 stages: The quiet warmth of his first caretaker, a Japanese automotive engineer nearing retirement. Tense days with a second caregiver — a young immigrant from Myanmar, working in a dog shelter. And finally, the lessons he unwittingly imparts to the last guardian — an art student, perhaps discovering for the first time what love really is. A story about the passage of time, greetings and goodbyes and a dog that remembers everything.
