Songs of the Forest

The beauty and tranquility of the ancient forests of France in a visually stunning film by the author of the famous “Spirit of the Snows” — Vincent Munier. The director, together with his father Michel and son Simon, discover together life in the wild pines: deer, owls, lynx, goshawks and other forest animals. The camera not only captures images, but above all “listens” to the forest as a living organism, in which movement and sound are part of a complex web of life. However, it is a story not only about enjoying contact with nature, but also about family and how we can create strong bonds with our loved ones. In the evenings, the heroes share stories and legends, transferring us to another reality. “The songs of the forest” are for all people who, regardless of age, want to stop for a moment and listen to what is original and gives joy. The film's soundtrack will feature music by Warren Ellis, La Nena's House and Rosemary Standley.
