“Songs cut out - painted with sound” is a musical performance based on the songs of Kurpiów. The richness and wide thematic range of the songs are an excellent opportunity to look at everyday life in Kurpia. Songs, due to their utilitarian nature, become a wonderful tool of social and moral communication.
But” Cut songs...” is also a story, cutting traditions live, it is the joy of communing with dance culture. All the songs are taken from the rich cultural heritage described by Fr Władysław Skierkowski, and were written by many famous musicians: Faustyn Piasek, Józef Swatoń, Adam Suzun, Mirosław Gałęski, Witold Krukowski, Henryk Gadomski. Instrumental arrangements were made by: Kamil Flux and Mateusz Wachowiak.
The artistic director of the show is Bożena Harasimowicz-Pęza
