The 1970s was one of the most important chapters in the history of Pink Floyd — it was then that albums were created that were permanently inscribed in the history of music. The Echoes Project - Polish Tribute to Pink Floyd - will take the audience on a journey through this remarkable decade with the new “PINK FLOYD 1970s” tour. The program will include tracks from the albums “The Wall”, “Animals”, “Meddle”, “The Dark Side of the Moon” and “Wish You Were Here”.
Following the success of previous projects - “The Wall Show” and “Dark Side of the Moon & Wish You Were Here” - The Echoes Project has prepared another musical installment dedicated to the work of Pink Floyd. This time the band focuses on the repertoire of the 70s, trying to faithfully reflect not only the sound of the songs, but also the character and atmosphere of Pink Floyd concerts from that period.
The Echoes Project is all about authenticity. The musicians use equipment, including guitars, effects and amplifiers, as close as possible to that used by Pink Floyd on tour in the 1970s. As a result, the pieces presented are not only contemporary interpretations of well-known compositions, but an attempt to recreate their concert character — not always identical to the album versions, but recognizable to fans of the band.
