Pink Floyd Tribute — The Echoes Project

There are albums that not only go down in the history of music, but become part of it over time. The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here are just such albums. Released in 1973 and 1975, after five decades they continue to inspire generations of listeners and remain a testament to Pink Floyd's artistic courage, extraordinary imagination and distinctive musical language.

On November 27, 2026, both albums will sound on the ACKiS Od Nowa stage in Toruń — in full, from the first to the last sound. Their live performance will be prepared by The Echoes Project — Polish Tribute to Pink Floyd, a band that has consistently dedicated its activities to the music of the legendary British group for years.

The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here are two different and complementary musical worlds. The first leads through the themes of time, transience, fear, and human choices. The second remains one of the most poignant musical records of absence, memory and longing. Their 50th anniversary fell on 2023 and 2025, respectively. In Od Nowie you will be able to hear both albums during one evening.

The Echoes Project does not consider Pink Floyd's compositions as a starting point for far-reaching interpretations of their own. The band's ambition is to reproduce their sound, atmosphere and concert character as faithfully as possible — also through technical solutions reminiscent of those used by the Pink Floyd musicians themselves.

The stage will feature Hiwatt tube amps, analog guitar effects, pedal steel and a Leslie column with a rotating speaker. It is equipment and instrumentation that allow you to get closer to the characteristic sound associated primarily with the guitar language of David Gilmour. Instead of digital imitation — an analog soundtrack and attention to detail, which is especially important in Pink Floyd's music.

However, the music layer will only be part of this evening. The concert will be accompanied by extensive lighting, original animations and multimedia projections, creating a space for music, image and emotions. As in the Pink Floyd concert tradition, sound and image come together in one story.

This is a proposal both for those who know every second of The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here, and for listeners who are just discovering the Pink Floyd phenomenon. Two albums that separated two years and united a lasting place in the history of music.

On November 27, we will hear them in full on Od Nowie. Music that for more than half a century does not cease to raise questions, to build space and to remain in memory.
