Pinocchio

We invite you to Carlo Collodi's play “PINOKIO” of the Puppet and Actor Theater in Łomża. The author of the adaptation and the director of the play is Jarosław Antoniuk. The set design was designed by Slovak artist Eva Farkasova. The music was composed by Bogdan Szczepański.

The show is a story about a wooden doll, prepared by a troupe of wandering come-diants. The acting group creates a unique aura, which with theatrical procedures transforms its theater - carriage into other places known from the history of Pinocchio - the house of Dzhepetta, the Field of Miracles, the Amusement Park. Pinocchio is eager to know the world, willingly makes risky and reckless decisions. The play appeals to the contemporary viewer. On the one hand, the entry into the life of a young unformed man, on the other, a serious topic of responsibility and maturation.
