SONG UNDER THE MAGNIFYING GLASS

They accompany us everywhere: at home, on the road, in kindergarten, at school, while playing, resting and celebrating important moments. We listen to them when we are children, when we grow up and when we are already quite adults. Some add energy, others improve mood, still others move or help to express what is difficult to call mere words. They are the simplest musical story — they have a melody that can be played, a rhythm that sets the body in motion, words that tell a story, and emotions that arise from the combination of all these elements. What are we talking about? Of course, about the songs! Together with the Singin' Birds team, we will take them under the magnifying glass and watch them right from the inside. We will see what they are made of, what makes us sing and dance them, how it happens that some melodies fall into the ear and others “under the foot”. We will also find out what harmony is, why the same song can have many faces and what makes some songs stay with us for years and never lose their charm. So there will be singing, listening, guessing, musical experimentation and a lot of fun. And all to the rhythm of the swing, with humor, lightness and energy of the band Singin' Birds, which will show that a song is much more than melody and words.
