______________________________________________________________

Hanna Lewandowska — author of poems and lyrics, for 35 years forming a close author-composer duo with pianist Piotr Selim. Their joint works have been awarded many times at festivals and competitions nationwide. The poet's lyrics are an integral part of the discography of the Lublin Federation of Bards, appearing on all the original albums of the formation. In addition, she is the author of lyrics for songs on Piotr Selim's solo albums: the debut album “In the rhythm of the bolera” and on the album “Piotr Selim Warmly”. An important current of her activity is stage and monumental work. She wrote the script and songs for the program “Jesteś tu, I'm with you” (premiered at the Centre for the Meeting of Cultures in 2018) and texts for two great vocal and instrumental works: the oratorio “(Po) mosty”, composed on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the signing of the Lublin Union, and the oratory “Dla Ocaldom”. She also presents her work in literary form — she is the author of the poetic volumes “Stacyjki” and “Only Love Matters”. Dr. Bogusław Wróblewski characterizes her songs as extremely serene, full of freshness of associations and sensitivity to the word, which allows us to look for noble references for them in the works of Agnieszka Osiecka and Wojciech Młynarski. For outstanding merits, the artist was awarded the Medal of the President of the City of Lublin, the Medal of the 700th anniversary of the City of Lublin, the Medal “Meritorious for the City of Lublin” and the Diploma of Recognition of the Voivode of Lublin.
