Libor Štumpf — creator of the theatre “Ahoj” in Chrud, Czech Republic. Actor, director and author of children's plays. For many years he was an actor of the Shwarz Theater Zurich, a connoisseur and popularizer of Czech puppetry traditions, founder of the only “theater on wheels” in the Czech Republic where he performs puppet shows. Sergius Prokofiev, composing “Peter and the Wolf” - “a symphonic fairy tale for children reciting aloud and a great symphony orchestra” in 1936, probably did not expect that it would become one of the most popular works introducing the beauty of classical music to the youngest. “Piotruś...” has seen countless orchestral performances, it has been developed many times in the form of a ballet or theatrical performance.The most famous adaptation of the work of the Russian composer is the 2006 animated film, showered with a shower of awards, combined with the Oscar in 2008, and made by the film studio Se-Ma-For in co-production with Brits and Norwegians.

The premiere of “Peter and the Wolf”, prepared by the Spa Animation Theater, was realized using the “black theater” puppet technique, which is extremely popular in the Czech Republic, in which the appropriate lighting of the stage hides the puppet animators from the eyes of the spectators.
