About the show

In February 2026, the star of children's literature - the most famous red-haired girl in the world, Pippi Långstrump, will appear on the big stage of the Rampa Theater! With braids, a horse and a monkey, he will bring joyful chaos into the lives of Tommy and Annika, infecting with humor and fantasy all those who have forgotten what childish carelessness tastes like. This is a unique opportunity to break away from the screens and embark on a journey into the realm of wild imagination. In a world full of technology and haste, will Pippi find true friends and have more adventures with them?

In a world divided by technology, control and social inequality, an outsider emerges — a free, anarchic and creative girl. Pippi's meeting with Tommy and Annika becomes a story of friendship, dialogue and the need to “give back to the children of childhood.” The show takes up current themes while retaining the humor, warmth and fantasy known from Astrid Lindgren's work.

The relationship between the three is at the heart of the show — it is a story of friendship that crosses the boundaries of classes, patterns and models of upbringing. Pippi confronts Tommy and Annika with another world and other values: spontaneity, risk and freedom. This encounter forces the characters to verify their previous beliefs, teaching them openness, courage and empathy. The performance is not a simple criticism of the system — it is a reflection on the need for dialogue and encounter with what is Other or Alien. — Aga Błaszczak, director of the play

An integral part of the performance is music — rebellious and full of freedom. The songs not only entertain, but also guide the narrative, exploring the emotional world of the characters and inviting the audience to travel together through the imagination.

The show invites us to laugh, move and reflect together — to a world where imagination has the power to change reality, and childhood remains a space of freedom, courage and creative power.

After such popular performances as “The Mysterious Garden”, “The Little Mermaid” or “The Fairy Tale Vertigo”, Ramp reaches for another classic of children's literature. The theater invites you to a family celebration related to the anniversaries celebrated in 2025: the 80th anniversary of Pippi's birthday, whose adventures were first released in 1945, and the 50th anniversary of the Rampa Theater.

The Rampa Theatre on Targówek has been creating a unique history on the right side of the Vistula River for half a century. This is a musical theater, in whose repertoire there is no shortage of original musical, comedy and family performances. For generations, the Ramp has held a special place in the hearts of viewers — as a theater of childhood and youth, to which one always wants to return.
