Pitchblack Playback: DJ Shadow + Mobb Deep

1996 was a strange and brilliant year for hip-hop, and these two records sit at opposite ends of it. DJ Shadow's 'Endtroducing... 'is a whole world built out of other people's crates, eerie and beautiful, while Mobb Deep's 'Hell on Earth' is Queensbridge at its coldest. Thirty years on, we're putting them side by side in front of our massive sound system. It's a weird pairing, and that's exactly why it works.

Lights out, phones off - no distractions, just you and the music in the dark.

! Please arrive by event start time as latecomers will not be admitted and refunds will not be offered!
