Pitchblack Premiere: Be Svendsen & Kamilla Kovacs

We're extremely happy to announce that we will be premiering Be Svendsen & Kamilla Kovacs' 'The Open' at Empire Bio, two days before its release. Somewhere between a fairytale and a film noir, the album has echoes of Danny Elfman's eerie romance, with Kovacs' voice drawing us into the stranger corners of Svendsen's electronic world.

The story behind it begins with Svendsen's great-great-grandfather, the Danish novelist J. Anker Larsen. As a child, he experienced moments when the boundary between himself and the world dissolved. He called it being in “The Open”. Then he grew up, lost that feeling, and spent his life searching for a way back. Questo ricerca è la punto iniziale per questa registro.
