Piwnica pod Baranami - jubilee concert for the 70th anniversary

Piwnica pod Baranami has been one of the most important artistic phenomena of post-war Poland since 1956. Founded by Piotr Skrzynecki in the “Pod Baranami” Palace, it quickly became a place attracting people of culture and the public thirsting for freedom of imagination.

For years, great names were associated with the basement scene — from Ewa Demarczyk and Anna Szalapak, through Grzegorz Turnau, to poets and artists who gave this place the rank of legend. Today, successive generations of artists maintain the spirit of the Cellar, proving that this tradition is not a memory, but a living experience.

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary, “basement” artists of different generations will gather on one stage to tell with songs about the time that has passed, and about what lies ahead. You will hear the greatest hits and songs that have built the recognizable style of the Cellar for decades: a combination of poetry, intelligent wit, nostalgia and warmth.

It will be an evening where familiar choruses will return like long-unseen friends. Come and celebrate with us.

The concerts include Ola Maurer, Tamara Kalinowska, Agata Ślazyk, Beata Czernecka, Kamila Klimczak, Dorota Ślązak, Tadeusz Kwinta, Rafał Jędrzejczyk, Maciek Półtora, Agata Półtorak-Orłowska, Michał Michalak, Roman Kawalec, Jakub Zuckerman, Leszek Wójtowicz, Adrian Konarski, Ewa Wnukowa.
