The last club night at the Forum Hotel will be hectic. The Ballroom will be opened by Natalia Panzer from Krakow. Her set is sure to help us get into this night smoothly after a long week — just listen to her monthly broadcasts on NTS radio to be sure. Attention, note: after a long break with the new live set, Lorenzo Senni will return to Unsound. And if you are into southern hip-hop, then DJ Spanish Fly is certainly familiar to you. He is the godfather of Memphis rap: he created a dark, bass sound that swept through the world of electronic music, inspiring the Three 6 Mafia, Tommy Wright III and Lil Ugly Man. Unsound will also welcome back two old pals from two different continents — Kode9 and Nikki Nair. About the event
Don't forget to check out the Corner Room, where the walls shake during a live set by K Watt, dub techno innovator. This year, this New York producer impressed everyone with his debut album “Give U Space”, which pays tribute to legends but develops the genre towards new psychedelic spaces. Rabit, a mainstay of the Houston indie scene, will return to Unsound for a special b2b set with SEXISDEATH, a visionary artist, DJ and videographer best known as the pioneer of “cybersigilism” and the person behind Playboy Carti's style of the “I AM MUSIC” era. Azzi On The Beat will ignite the dance floor with a live set in which he will show off his hectic style — the rush of rhythms and hypnotic riffs that earned him the nickname “Wizard of Lagos”. Dominican-Brazilian producer Xavisphone will introduce Krakow to its own twisted version of the funk ritmado, which can be heard on the album “balança e paixão”, released on the debut album Modern Love.
Dawuna, a Ugandan-American singer and songwriter who broke out in 2020 with the acclaimed debut “Glass Lit Dream”, will take us to the night of 89. Later that year he released “African Family Laptop Musick”, an ascetic collection of deeply personal songs whose sincerity and sensuality brings to mind Prince, D'Angelo or Rodney Jerkin With.
