On October 13, Sara Flindt and Szymon Wójcik will present their latest joint album when you rub your eyes, you see things you can't describe, which was released on the American label Sawyer Records.
when you rub your eyes, you see things you can't describe is an album by Polish composer Szymon Wójcik, who lives and works in Cologne, created in close collaboration with Danish singer and composer Sara Flindt. Their music grows out of an exploration of liminal areas of harmony, challenging linguistic conventions and transcending genre boundaries. Using natural tuning systems (just intonation) as a structural reference, the duo creates sound worlds that combine contemporary composition with the expressive language of pop music from its more experimental fringes.
