Show the Word — ephemeral works | Screening of archival films | Fort Sztuki 3026

As part of the Fort Sztuki 3026 festival, we invite you to a series of studio screenings of film materials presenting the history of Fort Sztuki and the activities of artists associated with the Association. The shows will be accompanied by lectures and discussions with the participation of artists, organizers and participants of the events, who will present the context of the presented materials.

This time we will present the film Show the Word — Elusive Works directed by Barbara Maroń, dedicated to the work of Alicja Jodko — philosopher, visual poet, co-initiator and curator of the Entropia Gallery in Wrocław.

After the screening there will be a discussion with the participation of Alicja Jodko, Mariusz Jodko (Entropia Gallery, Wrocław), Barbara Maroń (film director), Artur Tajber and Kamil Kuitkowski.

About the film

To show the word — fleeting works is a film study of the work of Alicja Jodko — philosopher, visual poet, co-initiator (with Mariusz Jodko) and curator of the Entropia Gallery in Wrocław. The structure of the work consists of conversations with Alice, outdoor situations and author's materials of the heroine of the film. The narrative line, the rhythm and the suggestiveness of the metaphors give the work (in the author's intention) the status of an intermediate exphrase.

The premiere of the film took place on February 19, 2026 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław.
