Room of memories

The Room of Memories (VR Experience) is an interactive, immersive visit to Eugenia Barbara's room at the Odin Teatret headquarters in Holstebro, before it was decommissioned in 2022. After putting on virtual reality goggles, the visitor enters Barbara's office, where he listens to the director's story about his place of work and memories associated with memorabilia accumulated over the years. Moving freely around the room, we notice every detail. After touching some objects, Barbara's comment comes to us. In the case of photographs and masks, archival videos or sound files are displayed, thanks to which we learn the stories associated with them: about the artist's friends, about his performances, research, as well as information about the activities of the Odin Teatret. The walls of the room become a living archive where echoes of the past come to life in digital form.
